My tribute to Basquiat, this project was about our artistic inspiration and what artist represents that for us. Basquiat’s style and expression in his art and style was something that showed me art comes in many different forms. For this project I used Adobe illustrator to create a portrait of Basquiat using the pen tool and brushes. I used his work as reference to create elements that mirrored his stye. I created different color schemes using grayscale, complementary, split complementary, monochromatic and triadic colors.
